About our B&B Station Amstelveen Hotel / B&B
As this is an old Dutch building, be aware that the stairs to the first floor is steep – see picture to the left. The stair consists of 23 steps that are 19 cm high and 22 cm deep.
Check in 15.00 – 21.00 and check out latest 11.00.
Breakfast is included in the room rate and is served between 07.00-10.00.
This is a non smoking property. You are not allowed to smoke in the rooms or elsewhere in the building. We do provide a smoking area outside. We have our own pet, however, you are not allowed to bring your own pet.
For refundable bookings:
If cancelled or modified up to 2 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
The guest will be charged the total price if they cancel in the 2 days before arrival.
For Non Refundable bookings:
Non-Refundable bookings are non-refundable. That means that booking cannot be cancelled or changed.
Parking is available on site or next to the building.
WiFi is available and free of charge.
TV channels includes “my prime”; 1000 of movies and series free of charge.
Extra bed sofa can be made in the rooms “Inspector”, “Dispatcher” and ”Conductor” for an additional cost of 15 euro per night. A baby crib can be provided for the cost of 15 euro.
Bicycles, based on availability, can be rented.
We also offer a laundry service (clothes in the washing machine) at a cost of 15 euro.

A practical APP to download (free) is “9292” – which helps you to plan your local trips in and around Amsterdam. You can download the public transport app 9292 here
From Schiphol Airport Bus 300 (14 minutes) to Amstelveen Centrum (“B” in the map to the left). From there it is a 11 minute walk to our B&B (A).
Bus 186, stops only 2 minutes from our Station, however, it does not go over the weekends.
Taxi from Schiphol takes 10-15 minutes and cost about 35 euros.
How to get to central Amsterdam You walk 7 minutes to busstop Hueseplein (“B” in the map to the left) where bus Bus 170 and 174 takes you to Leidseplein (30 minutes) and Amsterdam central station (45 minutes)
How to get to RAI exhibition, 10 minutes walk to bus 199 that takes you direct to RAI (12 minutes)
How to go to the Arena, 10 minutes walk to bus 300 that takes you direct to the Arena (16 minutes)
Bus fares and opportunities are many and vary, but in short:
A standard ticket cost 5 euros for adults and 2,50 for children 4-11 years old. Can be bought on the bus.
You may buy a OV Chip Card, which costs 7:50 euro but thereafter prices are less than half. Can be bought on many places, for example Albert Hein.
You may also buy the Amsterdam & region travel ticket that cost you 18,50 euro and is valid for 24 hours. Can be bought at Schiphol airport or at the Central Train Station or at our place.
